A recent blogpost from our recent booking at Sulgrave Manor,

Sulgrave Manor

If you are traversing through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and come across the beautiful village of Sulgrave, don’t forget to drop into the Star Inn for a few drinks. Because there you can be assured of the warmest of welcomes. The locals are the friendliest , kind people you could wish to meet. England has had its fair share of knockers over the years but these kind people restore ones national pride. Hoorah !

Setting up in the Sulgrave Manor hall  was very easy and playing to these gentle country Bumpkins was a real treat. They bopped all night and treated us absolutely fabulously. The loyal toast was perhaps not quite as well observed as it might have been, playing second fiddle to the roast dinner being served , but I’m sure her majesty would have understood.

My drum kit was quite the centre of attention and we had a number guest drummers up to play with the band , the most accomplished being Clive an old pro. Good show old bean.
Anyway if you are looking at Oxford wedding bands for your Sulgrave manor wedding , we would be happy to return , tatty bye
