Heathy Lea wedding

We had a absolute hoot at the wedding of Angela and Neil in the rolling hills of Derbyshire. Just down the road from Chatsworth, the stunning Heathy Lea wedding venue boasts wonderful vistas of unspoilt countryside .

A challenging first dance by Ellie Golding- How long will I love you , had the band hot under the collar to say the least . Obviously female vocals are very difficult to replicate for male singers as they are so high pitched.
Anyway we did our utmost and were relieved to start our normal set list ,kicking off with classic Motown hit My Girl .

Performing in a marquee can be difficult as the sound dissipates and we were on full volume alnight long . However , the guest danced away with gusto and wanton abandonment. The sing song at the end was highly amusing with some very strange warblings and out of tune shenanigans , concluding in a rousing rendition of Oasis’s Don’t look back in Anger . A free bar was greatly appreciated by all and the whole wedding was a joy to be involved in .

After the wedding, I invited the kids up for a go on my drum kit and suffice to say, they made a horrendous racket . However they all seemed to enjoy it with one cherub asking his mum for a drum kit for Christmas.

We wish Angela and Neil a long and happy marriage !
